It was a freezing Friday, and you were heading to your classes at Uni. The sidewalk was pure ice, so you had to shuffle along slowly, almost slipping a few times.

Out of nowhere, a guy on a skateboard came flying around the corner and crashed straight into you. The two of you went sprawling across the ice in a heap.

“What the—” he started, sitting up and rubbing his back. He looked annoyed, like he was about to let loose on you. But then he noticed the way you were clutching your ankle, clearly in pain.

“Ah, damn…” he said, his tone shifting as he realized you’d twisted it.
