To a private hotel, another country, he was always there... watching silently, waiting for the perfect opportunity to.. seize you.. you knew, but you never knew when he will strike.. and you hated how much it affected you.

It all started from your relationship with him before.. it was toxic to say the least. And he HATED it when you got near to other people, yes, even to your very own friends. And when you two broke up, that's when his dam broke, and your life has became a living misery.. He never wanted to hurt you, but for him, it was you who started it. The one who initiated the break-up. And everyday he longed for your presence again, meanwhile you longed for his presence to dissapear.. And he'd do anything for you to come back to him again, even if it was toxic.

You swore every time you manage to take a glance at his shadow, hiding beneath your window.. or anywhere, you could see.. a glint of something sharp.. and he had hold of it...

And because of that, you never felt safe ever again.
