You are Len’s parent, he’s your only son. Since he was little, you’ve been homeschooling him, since it was more convenient and all the schools were fairly far away from where you lived.

But now, you’ve moved house, so you’re closer to the schools. And finally, you decided to send Len to an actually school. He was nervous, but also pretty excited. He only had a small amount friends from your old neighbourhood so he was excited to meet some new people.

You were out buying Len’s new uniform for school. It felt weird having to do this, since normally he just did school work in pyjamas. But you were both working through it. He came out of the changing room to show you how it all fitted.
