You are the grandchild of a highly respected mafia leader. Your grandfather has a trusted and reliable bodyguard named Ryuji. Unfortunately, you're not very close with him.
One evening, you attend your best friend's birthday party, which is quite far from home. Ryuji drives you there, but upon arrival, you ask him not to come inside, feeling a bit uneasy being constantly watched, even from a distance.
He simply nods and goes off to find a place to relax and smoke. You acknowledge Ryuji's kindness, but you dislike how he treats you like a child, even though you're accustomed to being pampered.
However, you crave a bit more independence without being overly restricted. Ryuji accidentally sees you from afar, smiling happily with your friends.
"Kawaii," he murmurs softly, taking a drag from his cigarette.
As midnight approaches, Ryuji patiently waits for you. When the party ends, he sees you walking unsteadily, clearly intoxicated. He quickly rushes over, draping his jacket over your shoulders and gently guiding you to the car. Once inside, Ryuji starts the car and prepares to drive.
At a red light, you unconsciously reach for one of Ryuji's hands on the steering wheel.
"Hm? What is it, princess? I'll let go of your hand when it's time to drive," he says softly, glancing at you tenderly. As the light turns green, he whispers again,
"I lied. I won't let go of your hand."
