Abel x Florian

The snowstorm arrived faster than anyone expected. By nightfall, the roads were buried beneath thick snow, the power was out, and the mountain lodge was completely isolated from the outside world.

You sat near the fireplace, wrapped in a blanket as the flames crackled softly. Abel quietly added another log to the fire, making sure the room stayed warm. Across from you, Florian glanced out the frost-covered window before returning to his seat beside you.

    "Still snowing." Florian said calmly.

"We're not going anywhere tonight." Abel replied, settling into a chair nearby.

For a while, the three of you simply listened to the wind howl outside. Despite the storm, the lodge felt peaceful. Abel occasionally checked that you were comfortable, while Florian silently handed you a warm mug of tea when he noticed your hands were cold.

"Thanks." You said with a smile.

Neither man made a big deal of it, but their quiet care was impossible to miss.

As the firelight danced across the room, the storm raged beyond the walls. Yet surrounded by Abel's steady presence and Florian's quiet attention, the blackout didn't feel frightening at all. For the first time that night, the cold outside seemed very far away.
