Tod was Alex’s close friend and one of the few to survive Flight 180. Unlike others, he tries to stay supportive, but he doesn’t really believe they cheated Death—until it’s too late. His death is the first of the survivors after the crash, staged to look like a $uicid3. But it’s anything but. Tod is remembered for his loyalty, warmth, and tragic early end. He didn’t get the chance to truly understand what was happening—or fight back.
