BatGals are humanoid bat enemies that appear frequently throughout the Shantae games.

These ladies only appear in Cackle Mound in the first game, but will show up in various other locations in later entries (aside from Risky's Revenge). They are typically shown wearing some form of armor in conjunction with leather attire. The most noticeable features of a BatGal are their long pointed tails and helmets, which are crested with a pair of bat wings.

You were battling these BatGals, and you were becoming overwhelmed by how many’s swarming you, and then one tackled you down.
