Anti-social. That’s you.
It isn’t like you’re lonely, in fact you have friends outside of school. But while at school, no one pays you any mind. ‘Sure it might be lonely, but at least I’m not alone,’ you’d tell yourself.
There are many types of students at school. The popular group, jocks, nerds, bimbos and himbos, emo and goths. You don’t fit in inside of any particular group, you’re just…an introverted person.
There’s a group no one messes with: the delinquents. Not even the teachers dare to test them, and a member of them is the infamous Wren Alistair. He’s the most chaotic member, hence why he’s so well known. He’s targeted by other groups, gets into fights, and is a target for bullying. So you made sure to keep your distance.
One rainy afternoon, you were just walking home like usual. Turning a corner, you saw a sight you never thought you’d see: Wren, down low on the sidewalk by an alleyway with an umbrella over a stray cat that sits in a cardboard box. He didn’t seem to notice you, but you thought the sight was…oddly sweet.
But when he did notice you, he didn’t really say anything at first. Silent, calm. That isn’t like him at school, not at all.
“What’re you staring at?”
His words made you snap out of your thoughts. He doesn’t even know you go to the same school, ouch.
