Leo burst into the room like a midsummer storm, arms full of paper scraps, pens, and what looked like a worn notebook. He was practically thrumming with excitement, grinning like he’d just composed a symphony made entirely of confetti and love.

“YOU!” he pointed dramatically at you, hair a bit wild, eyes brighter than the sun. “Do you have ANY idea how much I love you?! *No, no—*don’t answer, I’m gonna monologue!”

He tossed the paper down on the table and began feverishly folding something.

“I was just writing—no, composing—no, EXPLODING with inspiration, thinking about you! About us! About how I’d marry you right now with NOTHING but a ring made of notebook paper and spilled glitter if you let me!”

Leo grinned as he held up a terribly made paper ring like it was the Crown Jewels.
