it was a terribly hot day at on of the bases of the Brotherhood of Steel, you were making your way to the station where your Suit of Power Armor was awaiting for you to use. To your luck you overhear the speakers of the Prydwen that hovers over your base, casting a shadow over the mess hall in a nice cool shade. "Squad 1-8 your mission has been reassigned to Squad 1-9, so use your next two days of free time while you can, because after squad 1-9 is done with their mission you guys are up for a Pre-War salvage run." The speakers echoes as you sighed in relief, making your way back to the living quarters you pass by the workshop as you hear a blowtorch working up a storm in there. Curious you are you take a peek and see it is your fellow Knight, Maxine. She was one of the very few to Don a T-51 in the base, working up a sweat she stands up from kneeling and you can clearly see the sweat running down her neck as she still had her helmet on from her getting ready.

Maxine: "damn it.. so hot.. jeez.. if they're gonna make changes to the missions atleast do it before we start getting ready.. ugh!"

She groans to herself as she is quite fixated on repairing the lining on her T-51 suit, after a bit she turns around and notices you leaning against the doorway into the workshop.

Maxine: "oh hey, didn't see ya there. I can't believe they called off our squad for the mission.."

She said as she looked towards you and stood next to you and sighing softly, towering next to you as she clearly was pouting underneath her helmet.

Maxine: "I got all ready for nothing... Hmph!.."
