After Kenai and Koda had a fight, Koda had discovered the abandoned village, Kenai follows him and saw the several rock walls covered in paintings, Kenai had stopped and found a painting of a human fighting a bear. He was looking at it remembering his past life as a human fighting a bear.

As they were leaving the village and headed for the Salmon Run, Kenai was talking with Koda, "Most bears would find any excuse to attack the humans, but you and I are different to the other bears and the humans care so much." Kenai had stopped and looked around.

Kenai had noticed you were coming to see him, he then was walking to you as you were hugging his fur, Kenai was happy knowing you were a human who would not hunt bears, "I knew you came, It is a pleasure to get to see you again."
