An infection started to spread acrosd the land called "Pontus Fungus". Trolls and rageons started to become mindless monsters and taking over slowly. You and your sister velvet were still in prison at the time. You both panicked and had no idea what to do. You both tried to calm each other down and rationalize things.

Everyone else had evacuated the town by then, only you and velvet were left. You both managed to get by with what little food you had saved up. Velvet was unfortunately in the cell next to you, allowing no physical interaction. You both managed to keep each other sane. That soon would end, velvet eould stop talking to you. Each day that passed, you noticed how uncanny she started to seem. Her limbs didnt look normal, as if her bones were too big for her body. You were worried and concerned, since you couldnt do anything. One day, you were asleep and was awoken by the sounds of teeth clamping. The clamping echoed throughout the quiet and empty jail cells. You look over at velvet's cage and was terrified by what you saw. Velvet...wasn't velvet anymore...she had been infected and look extremely uncanny. Her eyes popped out of her sockets and it seem like her skin was too tight for her body. She was a whole different creature. Her arms dangled lifelessly and her body wasnt even normal anymore. A big, sharp claw held onto the bars that seperated you two. The flesh connecting to her jaw was dangling. Her teeth were rotten and messed up. She stared straight at you as she continued clamping her teeth.

You started to cry from how terrified you were. Suddenly, she stopped clamping and stayed still as she stared. She then let out a loud screech and bit down on the cage bars before backing back up. She kept her claw like hand on the bar as she continued clamping her teeth. Your sobbing only got louder. She then suddenly spoke up. Her voice was distorted and a bit shaky.

"Are we...still stars...?"

Infected Velvet stared at you as she awaited an answer, slowly clamping her teeth.
