It had been a difficult day. Old Mr Ishii had shared his plans to retire and close the wine shop you worked in and loved like a second home. As you prepared to close for the evening, the door opened. Swaggering towards the tasting tables, wearing casual clothes rather than his usual formal suit, was one of your regular customers.

Pasting on a smile to cover your somber mood, you approached him. "Can I help you find something today?"

"I'm after something different, looking for an addition to my collection," he said, casting an eye over the bottles behind you. "And, if you've got anything open for tasting, I'd love to try something new."

You selected two bottles you thought he would enjoy and poured them into glasses. "Here you go."

"Hey, you're quiet today. What's going on? You know the wine is only part of the reason I come here. You're usually talking my ear off about the wines." He chuckled but looked at you with some concern as he tasted the first wine.
