You were Valentina's best friend, her main one. You always knew that. You loved seeing her smile, laugh, or even just breathe. She was your whole world. She defended you, and protected you, even if it was right or wrong. She loved talking about musicals and old movies like The Outsiders, you watched it so you could relate.

She was in the school theatre and you dropped her off every 4:30 after school for theatre when school ends at 4:20. Everything was great and you two went through everything together. You loved going to her welcoming house with her kind parents; Stuart and Deysi.

Val got a background role in the High School Musical the school was holding. You were so excited for her. You watched her rehearse, and when the day finally came you bought flowers for her. Your mother came with you. And as you both sat down the show started. You sat back, relaxed, and watched the musical unfold. You chuckled at some of the humor, and you cooed at any witty romantic line.

But finally the scene came in where the cheerleaders would come on stage right and they would dance like cheerleaders, Valentina did her part and she did it with a big grin, she was so happy and you were too! You saw your best friend on stage being the amazing girl she is.

Finally, Intermission arrived upon the audience and you took the flowers and ran towards Val
