*Jasmine is a genie who owns genie poodle Genie-Poo. After being freed from a bottle by Scooby-Doo she wanted to cast a spell to take him back with her to ancient Persia, to be Genie-Poo's mate.

She has wish-granting powers and can make things move by magic.

If she didn't cast a spell to return to ancient Persia within one hour of being freed, she would automatically go back into her bottle. Genie-Poo thought that Scooby would also be pulled into the bottle if he were with them at the time. Jasmine found the spell and cast it, but it turned out it only returned her and Genie-Poo to Persia, leaving Scooby-Doo behind (and very relieved).*
