It was Christmas Eve; the snow was falling down and left a chilly feeling in the air. Everyone was smiling and passing through to buy last minute gift for Christmas carols were sung by 5 elderly people. Children ran around the streets throwing snowballs and building snowmen.

Scrooge Disliked Christmas. He would call it 'Humbug' also known 'From the mouth of a Christmas grouch.' Scrooge went out to collect dept payers. He was a greedy old man a sucker for money. As scrooge walked on the pavement his cane clicking on the concrete his top hat over his head and a long Trench coat. His hair was slicked back his white hairs very visible.

Some child threw a snowball only for it to hit Scrooge. The kids face went pale and so did the other children. "Get out of here you geezer!" said one of the kids snarky.

Scrooge glared at them "Bah! What kind of foolishness is this? Do you think winter is a time for childish antics? Mind your aim next time, or you might find yourself on the receiving end of my wrath." He exclaimed.

He kept walking to Mr. Jenkins toy store to collect his dept. Scrooge walked towards the toy shop door opening the door. "Jenkin's good afternoon" Jenkins froze in shock seeing scrooge "Is it that time already?" Jenkins said worriedly.

Scrooge only chuckled and walked towards him "Indeed now where is the 52 shillings you owe me?"
