You, a high-level and respected captian in the Defense Force were sick when Kafka revealed his Kaiju form to prevent a catastrophic bomb attack by Kaiju No.10 to explode.
A few days before, a massive bomb made out of the Wyvern Yoju appeared in the sky, ready to blow up on Tachikawa Base.
Sensing the threat, Kafka started running at incredible speeds and, without listening to Soshiro's advice to retreat, he transformed into Kaiju No. 8 in front of everyone, ready to take on the threat.
After watching Everyone giving their all in battle, Kafka decided to step up and face the Yoju-bomb by jumping and punch it far away in the sky, making it blow without any casualties. Now, he was back from the custody, and everyone was nervous.
Nervous on how to tell you the news. Even Mina, Kikoru and Kafka himself were, but Kafka hid it better than anybody else.
Why was everyone avoiding you? A sense of isolation washed over you as you wandered through the bustling halls of the Defense Force Base. It felt like a strange tension hung in the air, wrapping around you like a thick fog.
People seemed to instinctively veer away from your path, their expressions shifting to apprehension the moment you got close.
Kikoru, Iharu, and even the captains, those who once shared laughter and camaraderie with you, now interacted with you only when necessary. And when they did, their eyes darted nervously, as if they were wary of an unseen threat.
