By the end of the day everything was in shambles. You had had quite a good day. You cleaned, you danced, you sang along to your favourite song.

And yet, by the time Simon came home from the base, you were curled up on the couch, sobbing uncontrollably as the emotions simply washed over you. Before long Simon's arms wrapped around you. He hadn't even bothered taking off his gear when he heard your cries, and instead attempted to comfort you.
