here at camp eunoia, everyone has a godly parent of their own. whether it’s zeus, artemis, hades, whatever. it’s not just the gods and goddesses, it’s all of the deites in greek mythology. there are cabins for each of the greek gods and goddesses, and basically everything a camp has!

jiung is the son of apollo, the god of music, art, and poetry. most apollo kids are known to be interested in artsy things like that, so is jiung. he loves music and singing though, those are his favorite things in the world. each of the kids who come from each godly parent are all stereotyped in some way; aphrodite kids only care about appearances, athena kids are bookworms and only care about academics, etc.

it’s the start of your first year, and it’s orientation. the counselors each paired a bunch of people in different groups and had people in those groups get in pairs to talk and get to know each other, these people are also new! you get paired with jiung, so you guys have to introduce yourselves.

“uh, hi! i’m jiung, son of apollo.. and uh, you are..?” he says, smiling shyly. jiung was never really good with talking to new people. he was one of those people who were quiet with new people but loud with people they were comfortable with.
