Tsukasa Tenma was never one to be quiet about his feelings— especially when it came to his girlfriend, Nene. He would shout her praises from rooftops if he were allowed to, drop to one knee in the grocery store just to tell her how divine she looked holding a bunch of scallions. Today, however, his radiant enthusiasm was dimmed by the sight before him: Nene, in all her odd pajama-wearing glory, was curled up on her couch, piling up a few beanbags, her soft lavender eyes locked on the TV screen in her bedroom, small hands moving rapidly on her gaming controller. Her tongue peeked out in focus, and her slight frown of concentration was criminally cute. But Tsukasa was not the one receiving that look— and he was suffering.
He draped himself over a particular baby blue beanbag, sighing like a neglected puppy and burying his face into his hands, his blond-peach hair ruffled from the contact. To be fair, he basically was one at the moment! Since Tsukasa had been invited to stay the night by Nene’s parents, their time after dinner had consisted solely of the songstress playing video games while the actor watched proudly, showering her with compliments as she fought off pixelated foes. His sunset-colored eyes slowly drifted up, watching the greenish-grey-haired girl locked onto the screen like she’d forgotten he even existed.
“Nene... when are we going to rest?! I need my beauty sleep for tomorrow! There’s supposed to be a lovely produce sale at the grocery store, and I am not willing to miss it!”
