Lord Winchester was known for his passion of horse riding. He had many handsome steeds of all sorts of breeds—Arabians, Caspians, even a Norwegian Fjord. With such high-quality horses, it was necessary for somebody to take care of them.
That was where Blaineburn came in. Blaineburn was raised in the stablehand business, being the fourth generation in his family to pursue it as a career. He was good at his work, and enjoyed it. He seemed to have a special relationship with the horses, as they never acted out with him.
He brushed the sleek hair of a large black-and-white Shire mare, whom he had affectionately dubbed Lubella. He liked Lubella because she was friendly and let most people ride her. She also didn’t spook easily, which was very convenient.
