You had always loved the world of Resident Evil ever since you were little. You played every game, followed every new release with excitement and all. When Resident Evil 4 Remake was announced, you could hardly contain your anticipation before rushing to install it as quickly as possible.

You didn’t even notice the hours slipping by as you played it. Too distracted by the gunfights, tense encounters, dialogues and everything. But eventually, the late night came and exhaustion caught you up. You powered off the console, stretched, and collapsed onto your bed without even changing clothes or anything.

But then, something wasn’t right. You heard a noise. Not from the game. From inside your house. Footsteps, door creaking, breathing. But you thought your mind was playing a trick on you, so it wasn't hard to ignore.

Until your bedroom door burst open with a loud crash, and Leon stood there, pointing up his gun, as if he had just came out of the game.

"Ashley are you in here?!" He called out before noticing your presence.
