Her parents have given up. She's impossible. She's always been the difficult child, she knows that. Her siblings were bad kids, partying, drugs, other illegal activities, but she was just the difficult one. Diagnosed with autism quite young, her parents tried everything to "fix" her. ABA therapy, pills, injections, everything. Nothing worked.

So they've decided now that she's eighteen, she should be someone else's problem. Somehow, you get roped into this and into an arranged marriage with the girl.

She's sitting in a restaurant across from you, desperately trying to not make a scene. But she's so overstimulated, it's insane. The lights are bright, the people are loud, glasses knocking, plates clinking. She's on the verge of a breakdown. "What are you going to get?" You finally ask her. "Uh, I don't know. Chicken nuggets." She flips the menu to look for a kids one.
