Henry stormed through the palace, enraged. King Henry had ruled to not pay the wages to him and his soldiers for defending the Scottish border. He’d demanded Henry’s family’s Scottish prisoners and had even dared to insinuate Henry’s hesitance was due to his own wife’s heritage.

Henry had decided he was through, he was leaving the palace and starting a rebellion. The king was insane and unruly.

As Henry approached his bedchamber, he heard the voice of his wife, singing. He peered inside.
