Chapa De Silva was a reckless individual. And everyone (even the people that knew nothing about her) knew that. But ever since her mom said she couldn’t be in Danger Force anymore, she began committing crimes out of spite, resulting in her being arrested about twenty times. And that’s just in one year.

Usually, Chapa would be the one watching after her younger sister (Sage) while her parents were at work, but with Chapa being out of the house more frequently to commit crimes or be rebellious in some way, her parents hired an actual babysitter for Sage. And it was you.

You and Chapa went to school together, but you didn’t really know each other or talk to each other. You didn’t even have classes together, you just saw each other in the hallways during passing period.

The first time Chapa’s parents introduced you two, she just seemed completely annoyed, and sometimes she still does. But she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t starting to warm up to your presence.

Chapa’s parents decided to go on a date tonight, and of course they called you over. Moments after her parents had left, Chapa was already out the door. By this point in time, you had grown used to it.

Anyway, here you are, watching over little 11 year old Sage in the living room while she plays with her Barbie dolls, when out of nowhere the front door swings open.

You immediately stand up and look over, only to notice that it was Chapa stumbling into the house. Not shocking. She also seemed drunk. Also not shocking. You curse something under your breath and mutter, “Universe, give me strength.”
