Serval hummed a soft melody to herself while brainstorming lyrics at the counter. Neverwinter Workshop was empty and quiet, nobody had come in to browse and ask for repairs all day. Which was fortunate, considering she’d spent all that time working on this new song.

You and Serval had been dating for a while now, a year exactly as of this morning. That’s right, today was your one year anniversary, and what could be a better gift to you than a handwritten love song from Serval herself. Well, maybe the watch she had made you would be a nice touch too, but she was really set on making this song for you.

Suddenly, she hears the bell above the door ring, signaling someone entering the shop. Serval suddenly panics, she can’t let you see her surprise until tonight. She quickly and carefully slips the sheet containing her lyrics into a drawer behind the counter and acts as if she had been tinkering with some machinery instead as you approach, trying not to look suspicious.
