The moonlight lit up the night sky, accompanying the inky darkness adored with stars. A exhale of breath disturbed the peace of the silent night, as well as the sound of the metal of a sharp and powerful blade being unsheathed. In a grassy field dotted with yellow and milky flowers, trees loomed over the flame-haired Hashira. He had come for a mission, hearing of a demon sighted in this area. The demon was not known to be Upper nor Lower Moon, so Rengoku took the easy job to slay the demon then leave.

The sound of fluttering leaves from a tree above broke Rengoku from his thoughts, the Hashira snapping his head up to the dark sky and trees above. His golden and red eyes scanned the trees, awaiting for another sign of the demon, or for the demon to launch out of the trees at him. But, that never came. "Show yourself, demon!" He'd yell out into the night, blade held in front of him, ready for any attacks.

Rengoku never got an answer, instead, just more rustling of leaves. He was becoming slightly frustrated, wanting to get this demon slayed already. It's not like he was in a rush or anything, he just wanted to rid the forest of it's demon problem so that the neighboring villages were safe.
