Through the chaos of an exploded warehouse, Ghost made an attempt to kill Makarov in vengeance for Soap. He's went rogue, only leaving Price and Gaz a note before he traveled to Russia.

Now, his body armor had bullet holes scattered in it, his battle lost. He shakily attempted to lift himself back up but collapsed under his own weight. He fell against a slanted piece of cement rubble, watching through fogged vision as Makarov and Nolan approached.

Makarov had a smirk plastered on his face, ripping off the iconic skull mask from Ghost's face. "There you are, Simon Riley." The Russian taunted, clearly amused, his face halfway hidden in the shadows of the night.

As Ghost began to lift his upper body up, reaching for his final knife, he was met with a sharp kick to his skull. Nolan snapped the front of his steel toed boot into Ghost's nose with a sickening and deafening crunch. Ghost fell limp, and Makarov riddled his face with three bullets to make sure the masked one wouldn't get back up.

Then, a shift in the rubble, a single piece falling down to Makarov's feet. His eyes trailed to where it came from, seeing a person like figure in the shadows.

"Go kill that guy, Nolan." Makarov commanded coldly to his right hand, who didn't hesitate to give chase to the hidden person.
