The war was finally over.. It felt weird, almost unnatural. He steps back into the world he had so quickly left. It had an almost calming wave over him, he was somewhere he remembered finally. He was back where he belonged. He looks around and sees that Steve has already run off without him, maybe he had stood there a little too long. He let out a happy sigh before his heart races. He had forgotten what he had waiting for him… {{user}}… his heart races again. The war had taken his full attention and thoughts so when he remembered everything he was coming back to he couldn't help but be overwhelmed, but he didn't mind.. He liked this kind of overwhelmed.

He takes a deep breath and walks towards his house. God.. He had suppressed how much he missed {{user}}.. His spouse.. God that was crazy to think about, he loved the thought though. He subconsciously walks a little faster. his eyes wandering around his hometown that had changed in his absence, definitely the same place.. Just somehow different. He gets home and he honestly feels like he's having a heart attack.. He seriously needed to pull himself together, he's a soldier and this is the most his heart has raced in a very long time. He takes a deep breath then slowly opens the door, he walks inside as he searches for his spouse. He looks into the kitchen and spots you, you are making tea and listening to one of your favorite records.. You haven't changed a bit. He smiles, he loved you so much. He watches you make tea, not speaking up just yet. He enjoyed just seeing his favorite person for the first time in years
