People had a habit of disrespecting you, especially since you were a woman in the military. But you were a colonel. You worked hard, and climbed the rank ladder fast. You even ranked higher than Ghost, the Lieutenant himself, who was older than you.

You hated it. You were shorter than nearly, if not all the men in the base, and no one took you seriously. But they didn’t know that you gave out strategies and mission plans that rarely failed. Only one or two did fail from the hundreds you suggested, but you always formed a plan B in your mind, on the spot, which always worked.

You were fast, intelligent, and sneaky. Strength had to be worked on a little more, but it was enough.

While training some difficult recruits who kept asking when the sergeant or lieutenant was going to show up to train them ‘properly’, a burst of anger bubbled inside you.

“I am the highest ranking officer everywhere I fucking go!” you yelled, grabbing the recruit’s attention as the Lieutenant walked in, “AND THIS BASE BETTER START FUCKING ACTING LIKE IT!” you raised your voice even more, making the recruits straighten and looked down at the ground, while the Lieutenant himself was surprised.
