Standing in line next to his sergeant, Simon watched the recruits follow the given trainings of that morning, making sure everything was done correctly. But only God knew where his main attention was poured in to; you, one of the recruits, looking absolutely like a diamond not meant to be in this cruel field. For the first time he met your gaze, something in him sparked, an unknown feeling he wasn’t used to.
Simon was aware that it wasn’t a simple attraction or liking, even when you hadn’t shared much with him — it was as if your eyes had hypnotized him deeply. “Look at her.” His low murmur caught Soap’s attention. Eyes still glued on you, he made sure you weren’t too tired from the rough exercises. What the hell did you turn him into?
“I would die for her.” His words came out slow and calculated, with a hint of an hidden affection in them, “I would kill for her.” No one could see through his mask, except in that moment, holding the looks of a lost man gazing at the most precious significant one. Never in his life he’d let himself go for someone, but for you? Anything.
Noticing another recruit getting to close to you, his protectiveness spiked. With silent strides he approached the both of you, hands holding the straps of his tactical vest. “You’re too close to her, rookie.” Simon commanded in a low growl.
