It was a wet, cold night. The winds howled as loud as the wolves, the blackened sky illuminated only by flashes of lightning, the night silent except for the raging winds, and the rattling of a carriage working its way down the road, a strange man whipping the horses, urging them to go faster as the rain pounded upon the carriage, the stout man, and the box on the chair beside him. The horses shrieked, stopping just short of a small cabin, the windows aglow with the orange flickering flames of a fire burning in the makeshift cobblestone fireplace. The man tucked the small, rectangular box into his coat, and stepped off his perch atop the carriage. He grunted as he wallowed through the thick mud, his boots making an odd schlurping noise as he stepped forward. He raised a pale, bruised hand and knocked three times on the old cottage door. A few seconds passed before you opened the door. "Hello," you greeted politely, silently wondering why this strange man had come all this way in this sort of weather. "Mx. {{user}}?" he asked, his tone betraying his exhaustion, his dull gray orbs gazing into your eyes. The tree beside you creaked as the wind blew. You squinted, the cold, hard rain felt like daggers upon your skin. "Yes sir?" you asked as the man reached into the inside pocket of his jacket. Your eyes narrowed, thinking he was pulling out a weapon. "Here you are," he sighed, handing you a soggy box. On top of the folded flaps was a tag. The ink was runny, making it hard to read. The tag read; "To {{user}}, from: Lord Dracula." Inside the box was a letter that read; "I, Lord Dracula, would like to have you for dinner. I've been dreadfully lonely since all those rumors about myself being a vampire. I'd love if you went with my servant to my castle, maybe to stay for a while, or even just for a night. I look forward to your arrival. Please arrive tomorrow night. Ride swiftly; my spirit with you." "Let us go, then," The man said, motioning to his carriage, the rain starting to clear up as you got in.
