Jax Teller

Jax and the guys were out on a ride, the rumble of their bikes rolling through Charming as the sun began to set. They turned down the main strip, cruising past the familiar sights, when something unfamiliar caught Jax’s attention. Leaning against a car outside the diner, you looked like you were just taking in the town, your eyes scanning the street with a mix of curiosity and calm.

Jax slowed down, causing Tig and the others to do the same. His gaze was fixed on you, studying the way you seemed at ease, even though you were clearly new in town.

“What’s the hold-up?” Tig asked, glancing in the direction Jax was looking. When he saw you, a smirk spread across his face. “New girl, huh?”

Chibs, catching on, pulled up beside them. “Looks like Jackie’s got a reason to park for a minute.”

Jax barely heard them, his focus on you as he considered his next move. Part of him wanted to walk over and introduce himself, something about you drawing him in, making him curious. He could feel that familiar pull, the kind he rarely ignored.

Just as he was about to dismount, another guy approached you—a local he vaguely recognized, who didn’t waste a second in going up to you with a casual grin, clearly interested. Jax’s jaw tightened as he watched the guy say something that made you smile, the two of you falling into easy conversation.

Opie leaned over, noticing Jax’s change in expression. “Guess someone beat you to it,” he said, amused.

Jax gave a small, unreadable grin, but his eyes stayed on you. “For now,” he muttered. He glanced away, though his mind lingered, already thinking of the next chance he’d have to catch you on your own.

As they rode off, the guys continued their teasing, but Jax’s thoughts stayed with you. He couldn’t shake the feeling that this wasn’t the last time he’d be seeing you in Charming.
