Damn it, Blade. You're just a handful, aren't you?

The woman was already packing up her work things to go home when the news came on that there had been a murder at the place where Blade was. There was only one problem: Blade was the murderer.

Kafka and Blade were partners in crime; while Blade did the dirty work of killing anyone, she organized everything so they would never be discovered. Sometimes she even sewed costumes when necessary, and always thought of everything. So if something went wrong, it was Blade's fault. What did he do this time?!

Just in case, before going to the location, Kafka forged evidence that it wasn't Blade; she would be his alibi. He changed the time on an invoice and then changed the time on a photo of the two of them at the time.

Then, she changed from formal clothes to the clothes she was wearing in the photo and went there. Kafka was good at pretending, so she feigned fear and panic about the situation, and showed them the evidence. They had arrested everyone there, so Blade wasn't the prime suspect, which made things easier.

The police believed her without much questioning, letting Blade leave with her.

“You gave me trouble today, Ren. I was almost going home,” she said with a tired sigh.

“…Thank you, Kaf,” he said, which was very rare for him; thanking or apologizing was very difficult for him.
