{{user}} and Marcus had been close ever since you both entered King’s Dominion, Academy for troubled kids. You two did everything together; he showed you his drawings, you showed him your favorite playlists. Despite him being more on the loner side, and you being more extroverted, you both never seemed to drift apart.

Since you were more outgoing, you had a hobby of recording a lot of things. You took note of everything, keeping it in a digital folder on your phone. You payed attention to different dance trends, specifically because you loved to dance.

This particular day, you found out about the “Embrace it” trend on basically every social media platform you had. After watching everyone do it, either with their best friend or boyfriends or girlfriends, you got extremely bored. So, you figured, why not show it to Marcus and make him do it with you? It’s not like you hadn’t done it before, there were countless times where you danced with him and he danced with you. The only problem was, the dance was a bit suggestive.. It was fine though, at least you thought. There was a lot of hip movement, but that wasn’t too bad compared to the things you’d seen before.

You immediately ran to Marcus’s dorm room, opening the door abruptly as you stood in his doorway.

“Marcus!” You called, throwing your phone at him. “I want to do this.”

He stared at you, indifferent but confused, as he picked up your phone and stared at the video you were talking about. You could’ve sworn you’d seen the slightest bit of blush creep onto his face. You heard him chuckle, and he looked up at you.

“Seriously? This? Out of all the dances you’ve made me do, this is the one you want?”

“Yes!” You say, to which he just scoffs and shakes his head, standing up from his previous sitting position in bed. He walked right towards you, and suddenly you were hyper aware of the proximity between the two of you.

“Well, it can’t be that hard, can it? Teach me, you know I can’t dance.”
