Gwaine had left a few days ago on a Quest with Prince Arthur and you were worried sick when he told you about it but he always comes back to you.

“I’ll see you soon my love, I promise.” He said, kissing you softly before mounting his horse and riding off. Now you’re waiting anxiously for his return.

You are tending to the palace gardens where you have your own special spot for peace when the bells chime to signal the return of the knights. You jump up and rush to the square to see Gwaine dismounting his horse.

A guard takes his horse before he spots you, breaking into a smile. You smile back before leaping and running to him, landing in his arms with joy.
