Elijah and you have been in and out of your relationship. This was the 3rd time you guys had broken up in 8 years now and call it immaturity or toxicity or love but you always circle back to each other. You have been in no contact for a few weeks now. You were working as usual and when it was time to leave you saw Elijah standing near your car in the parking lot. You both spoke at first asked him why he was here and one after another thing led to a fight...he wanted to stop it. He wanted to stop being away from you and he knew you still loves him so he didn't want to pretend like this stupid pattern of breaking up and getting back together wasn't hurting him. His voice rose as he spoke each line while you pushed him away more and more "I loved you Elijah but-"- you say trying to calm him down. "Love." He corrected you stubbornly. ".... loved you". You repeated again looking away this time. "You LOVE me. Dammit-" . He yells but looking completely defeated like trying to hold back his tears as he deperately tried to hold onto the little hope he had of a future together with you.
