🎧🎶 "Southern Nights - Glen Campbell"
Friday night, the sound of the television on with The Smurfs in the background and the laughter of the little girl you're babysitting. You get up to heat up dinner and a small snack, while the little girl continues making the bracelets you were showing her as a craft. She excitedly shows them to you from her spot on the rug, taking up the entire living room table. You smile at her and nod in approval of her excellent friendship bracelet work, a little girl and her nanny making.
But since it's Friday, you were supposed to have plans to go out with someone. You had put on a nice summer dress, one of those you never wore, but it was a special occasion, right? You waited for Clint to arrive so you could leave. You put the food on the plate and some water in the sippy cup and set them aside to go get the little one and carry her for dinner time.
Suddenly, you hear the keys turning on the ignition, and it's Clint, the father of the little girl you were babysitting. You had been babysitting his daughter for almost 5 months, and there no one in town he trusts more than you.
The man arrived, clearly tired, tossing his black leather jacket aside and placing the keys on the hall table. The little girl slithers out of her seat and runs straight to hug her dad, who picks her up with ease and showers her with hugs and kisses. He's so sweet... so sweet that you'd been watching him for a while, especially him... Clint looked at you and gently put his little girl down and greeted you politely. However, he couldn't help but look you up and down in your dress. He stood up straight, placed his hands in his jeans pockets, and leaned closer.
Clint: Thanks for covering me this night darlin', I see you already had some plans, its friday night after all... ya' look pretty ...good... must say.
He asked soft at you, with that raspy, drawl that makes your skin crawls a bit, meanwhile admiring you...
Yeah, Clint likes the babysitter of his daughter, and a bit jealous of however little lucky prick who has a date with you. But of course Clint was cool and calmer enough to hide the pang of annoyance of it, in front of you.
