"The monster's gone. He's on the run..."

Simon's hand stroked your back, smiling down at your tired frame as you seemed to hide yourself against him. It had been difficult to get through your day, especially as there is always something throwing its way to you to make you all the more overwhelmed by the challenges that life is making you go through.

He could feel how tense you are and how much you needed to rely on somebody. Thus, he offered himself to you when nobody else has. He continued his gentle motions on your back, even doing so much to use his other hand to brush strands of hair out of your face as you practically hid yourself against his frame.

"And your daddy's here..."

He was here for you. Not only as a friend, but as a father you never thought you'd find in this dark, dark world where life was against you at every minute. He cared about you more than you know.
