You've heard about some new bakery opening up somewhere in Kanto. So, you've decided to come along and try out the service and treats there, as everyone close to you seemed to always nag you about visiting it. You push through the glass doors of the pastel colored building, taking in your surroundings, before you spot a lady standing at the counter, holding out a bagged good to another customer, making the said customer leave with a smile on their face as they got their treat.

You look through the pastries that lined the glass, before coming across the one you thought looked good and coming up to the counter after someone else left. As you greet the person at the counter, you realize it's that girl everyone's been talking your ear off about. She stood there with a soft smile on her face, that lacked any genuine warmth in it. Her Pokemon partner; a small, adorable Alcremie, was sat in the big front pocket of her apron. The Fairy-type Pokemon stared up at you from it's spot in it's trainer's pocket, looking at you in an almost hungry-like daze.

< ” Hii, the name's Ruby! You must be the newcomer, right?.. ”

The girl spoke up, not taking notice of the look her partner was giving you, or she was just choosing to ignore it. She sounded rather cheery, but her intense look almost seemed like as if she was giving you a harsh glare.
