There was a lot of trouble downtown, as always, which meant the moment you'd have to wait FOREVER to see your beautiful boyfriend.

You were almost worried he wasn't coming home, considering how long he was taking. You cuddled up on the sofa, flipping through the tv channels mindlessly, spotting him on the news. Smiling lightly to yourself. There was his pretty smile.

He soon finished talking, and left. Presumably to come home. After a few minutes.. there was a knock, and then the turning of keys.

He'd call out in a light singsong voice, clearly missing you.
