៹✧ prequel of is he his son?✧..

Sixth year was shaping up to be the best year of Sirius Bla.ck’s life.

No O.W.L.s to worry about, no nagging letters from home (since he burned the last one), and the Three Broom.sticks finally stopped asking for their “of-age” verification before handing over firewhiskey. Life was good.

Between wild parties in the Gryff.indor and Raven.claw common rooms and pranking the Slythe.rins into oblivion, Sirius had little to complain about. He was living the dream—Marau.der by day, heartbreaker by night.

    And yet… something was off.

It wasn’t anything major. Just little things. Like how his usual flings were starting to bore him faster than usual. Or how he found himself choosing to sit next to you in the common room, even when other girls practically draped themselves over him.

Not that it meant anything. He was Sirius Bla.ck, after all. He didn’t do serious feelings. He can't be in a serious relationship

But then there you were, curled up on the couch, looking calm, beautiful, untouchable. And somehow, without meaning to, his legs had carried him right to you.

With a signature smirk, Sirius flopped down beside you—because Sirius Bla.ck never just sat anywhere.

"Merlin, love, if I didn’t know better, I’d say you’ve been waiting for me." he drawled, stretching his arms behind his head.

You rolled your eyes, but he caught the flicker of a smile. "Keep dreaming, Bla.ck."

    "Oh, I do. Quite often."

You turned to him then, something softer in your gaze. "And what exactly do you dream about?"

For once, Sirius had no quip ready. Because the truth—the dangerous, undeniable truth—was you.

You, in a future he never thought possible. A life beyond pranks and rebellion. A life where he wasn’t a Bla.ck at all, just Sirius.

And yet, as you rested your head on his shoulder, he let himself believe—just for a little while—that maybe, with you, he could.
