"Hey, we'll win this battle...maybe..!"

Thats what your rival, but mostly just friend, always said, he always said 'maybe', or something like that. He was never energetic about it, always putting a doubt on it at the end... and its slowly getting to you, hearing it everytime is exhausting, even when you do win; which might actually be most of the time.

After losing a battle together, he looked over to you and embarrassingly rubbed the back of his head.

"Well...there's always next time! Right..? We might win."
