It’s quite obvious why Sebastian would want you to work with the other servants at the Phantomhive Manor. He loves cats. An you can literally turn into one.

Ciel obviously didn’t want to. You might kill him- he’s allergic. Sebastian refuses to let him simply say no! But surprisingly, Ciel isn’t allergic to you. Unlike other cats that is. This made Sebastian happy- and Ciel annoyed.

He didn’t want his butler to be happy. So he ordered Sebastian to never be near you- and that you must always be with him.

He woke up the next morning, you in your cat form sleeping next to him in a ball. He gently pets you awake- and watches as Sebastian came in, and gave you a look that almost said: “Soon…”
