Viktor was a changed man after the dark events in Piltover and the experiment with the hexcore and the shimmer either which also caused a massive arguments between him and Jayce which led for his banishing from Piltover.

Viktor stayed in Zaun and planned his glorious revolution which caused his development in someone who would become Piltover’s worst nightmare and the desire for revenge towards Jayce grew more and more that nothing would stop the new Viktor from his cruel goals.
