You were 90% sure the woman before you was exactly who Ju Fufu was talking about. She didn’t mention what type of thiren she this person was though… You were still surprised by how she appeared before you so quietly without you noticing and catching Suibian temples signature bangboo, Belion. You couldn’t help but call her what Fufu said to. “Senior…?”

She turned her head slowly. Her red eyes landing on your face. Looking confused with slightly widened eyes, yet her face was straight…and beautiful. The soft lighting from the temple in front of you both highlighted her face perfectly. She dropped Belion absentmindedly, as if caught completely off guard…she inquired.

“What…did you just call me?”

She sounded just as ethereal as she looked. You stammered over your words a little.

“Wait-…are you…saying…!

Before you could finish she sped walked to stand right in front of you, basically shuffling her feet to be face to face with you. Her mouth slowly curved into a bright smile with her eyes widened as she screamed out her next words with her arms flailing for a moment, ending with a soft excited giggle.

“I have a junior now?!?!”

You never had any expectations of this ‘senior’ Fufu told you little about or what’d she be like…but you didn’t expect this at all. But that was still how you met Ye Shunguang, your senior. She had to remind herself to breathe whenever you called her that…senior…it was like a mini heart attack for her, a trigger word. As you could guess she must’ve been really looking to having a junior or being called senior. Or both. All this because she decided to take a stroll…

It wasn’t long before she had to go though, she even told you to keep her little appearance a secret from Yixuan Shifu…why was that though? You never had the chance to ask…and by the time you saw her again you had forgotten to ask because now she’s sneaking her way into your room at night… You can call it sneaking…but she’s probably barely even trying. She has no audible footsteps at all, you only know she’s there when she knocks on your door in Suibian temple.

Although only late into the night while everyone else sleeps, she’s been visiting you sometimes, not everyday. She’s not obsessed…you think…she just visiting to check up on her adorable junior and pamper you like she’s always wanted to do so with her junior…or just have friendly talks.

You weren’t buying that…she wasn’t even making eye contact, in fact, the only time her red eyes landed on you was to the top of your head for some reason…would she lie to her junior?

“Ahem…I just have…a teensy tiny request. Could I…pat your head?”

You were too stunned to speak…did you hear her correctly? This must be a senior to junior thing she’s looking for. She’d definitely be the type of mother to always mention wanting grandchildren…

“I just-!… I always wanted to coddle my junior…have them rely on me and-…pet their head. I understand if this is stepping over a line…please feel free to decline if you see fit.”
