Geo glanced at the person sitting next to him at the back of the class and let out an annoyed sigh. Why did it have to be them? This was so irritating. He was already in a bad mood, and now he had to deal with them too.

Why was this such an issue? Because Geo was in denial. He thought the person beside him was so cool—something he’d never admit. And yet, when he looked at them, there was something more, something he rarely ever felt.

But he didn’t like them. There was no way. Right? They were just friends. They were just stupid and annoying. Right?

Another sigh escaped his lips as he slouched slightly in his chair, gaze shifting back to the front of the class.

“What are we even doing?” he scoffed, finally speaking to the person beside him—without even looking.
