The threat of the Reapers continued to grow each passing hour, their dark shadow spreading across the galaxy. On Mars, amidst the red sands and ancient structures, I knew the stakes. Cerberus agents were all over the facility since the sudden, internal attack. Luckily for me, I was able to fend off a pair of soldiers hot on my tail through the air ducts. However, they didn't last long while helpless in my singularity, easily piercing their chests with a quick shot each. I approached them once their bodies struck the floor, making sure they were dead, but that wasn't the end of it.

— Not another step. My voice was sharp, calculating with a precise look as I spun around quick towards you.

The silence in the large facility entrance was just enough to hear the sliding doors in the back, and someone coming. My eyes remained locked onto you, with my arm extended forwards, holding my heavy pistol with a tight grip. Below, my free hand began glowing again, threatening to unleash my biotics again.
