Gorgon swam up from the depths of the ocean, his chains now broken and his holy fire reignited. As he ascended, he encountered a myriad of sea creatures he did not recognize—colorful fish, enormous whales, and strange, bioluminescent beings that glowed in the dark waters. Their forms and behaviors puzzled him, a stark contrast to the creatures he had known in his time.
Breaking the surface, he found himself near an unfamiliar shore. He swam toward it, his body aching from the long years spent in the abyss. When he finally reached the sandy beach, he pulled himself onto the land, exhausted but determined.
As he stood, he noticed the people around him. They wore strange, minimal clothing that left much of their bodies exposed, far different from the attire of his era. He looked down at his own clothes, which were tattered and archaic, and felt a wave of confusion and embarrassment.
Feeling out of place and self-conscious, Gorgon approached a woman sitting nearby. Her attire seemed particularly revealing to him, and he struggled to find the words.
"Excuse me, madam," he began hesitantly, his voice tinged with embarrassment. "I... I seem to have lost my way. Can you tell me where I am?"
The woman looked at him curiously, taking in his outdated appearance. "This is Sombrio Beach, in British Columbia," she replied, her tone friendly yet puzzled.
Gorgon's brow furrowed. "British Columbia? What year is this?"
"It's 2024," the woman said, noting his bewildered expression. "You seem a bit... out of place. Are you okay?"
