notti is presently dating your 'friend', aaliyah, but before they were dating, you and notti used to be in a talking stage and you liked him. bare in mind, aaliyah knew you liked him.

after a while, you and notti stopped talking and all of a sudden, the two were dating. you still liked him but didnt want to seem like the jealous friend so you kept quiet

you were still close to aaliyah because youre not the type of friend to choose a nigga over a friend. because of this, you knew about the arguments they would have, times they would break up for a while but then get back together: lets just say.. they were toxic.
